A Case of Misplaced Audacity

7.45pm
We split for shopping and promised to meet back at the nearest tourist information kiosk at 9.20pm before heading together to Plaza de la Merced. I went hunting for a backpack.

8.00pm
End up at the end of the road, there's a tourist info kiosk at the corner of the square. Apparently I had found our meeting point. Went back hunting.

8.50pm
No luck. Most shops are closing and drunk Spaniards messing around club-hopping. Made my way to the meeting point.

9.00pm
At the meeting point. Was 20 minutes early and got bored. Studied the Malaga map on the kiosk board and realized a grave mistake. I was not at our designated meeting point; I was at Plaza de la Merced already.

Memorized the map and scurried back inside the maze of an alley to find the other tourist info kiosk.

9.15pm
I couldn't find it. I decided it was best to stay put somewhere open and relatively safe (the Plaza) rather than walking around alone in the dimly-lit alleys of Malaga. The girls will come to the Plaza sooner or later and I was sure they would trust me to be safe and not worry about me.

Somehow.

Walked past a kebab joint and saw a group of guys eating outside it. Saw the face of a Malaysian. Raised an eyebrow and walked past them to take a seat in the middle of the square.

Crossed my legs and counted the minute till the girls reach the plaza.

A guy approached. "Macam kenal."

"Eh. Fayyadh!"

9.26pm
He had to return to his friends eating at the joint. Thank you and God for the 11 minutes of company, haven't seen him in three years and suddenly the Beijing guy and the Cairo girl met up in Malaga instead.

"Kau baik-baik tau, dah la sorang.." Yeah, I felt like kicking myself, too.

There was a couple drinking with their friend on the bench next to me and people kept walking past me towards a club just beside the kebab joint. Dogs unleashed walking with their masters and boy, it was cold and boring. I couldn't take out my iPod for fear of attracting more attention.

Sorely stood out being the only one sitting alone waiting at the square.

Turned around every few minutes and saw that the guys were still at the joint. Bravery is being the only one who knows you're afraid, haha.

9.43pm
The guys left. I prayed the girls will hurry up and get here already..

9.58pm
Saw the guys coming out from an alley into the other side of the road, walking towards where Fayyadh said they parked their cars.

10.00pm
I would wait till 10.30pm, if not I would go back to the hotel. I would go through the main roads so everything should be fine, insya-Allah.

10.04pm
Saw the girls at the far corner of the plaza. Stood up and steadily walked towards them.

Sarah turned and saw me. She alerted the others. She ran towards me with her arms open.

I broke into a run.

"It's a grand for court contempt!"

"And the school is suspending me because of the pending criminal charges."
-Paul, Leverage customer

Happy Malaysia Day everyone. Let's pretend that that is a Malaysia flag.

I played a lawyer three years ago, defending a student expelled because of a pending criminal charge, something related to possession of drugs (or was it B&E?) We won the case playing with the sentiment "innocent until proven guilty" and "education right for everyone".

It was child's play. In today's justice reality, you don't get that. That's how we come to have Leverage on air.

Stray Cat

Ever since I first applied for a class at OLC, I put it straight away that it is a place I will only go to learn and to help others with any question regarding knowledge that they throw at me.

Not to make friends. Never did, never will.

If there is, perhaps, the rare kind worthy to be friends with, then I am all up for it.

Yes, I am a bit of anti-social. Perhaps. I am not friendly. I am, analogically, like a stray cat.

Beautifully mystifying. Elegant with an air of authority and mischievousness. Intrepid. Inability to trust strangers.

Will come near for food, as soon as the feeder walks away.

Pity I am unable to embrace the peeps as friends; pity I am unable to trust them fully. Pity I never find it within me to pour out all the inner storms.

If I treat everyone the same way, who will I treat special?

p/s: We're officially 17 and 8 months old today.

Doctors Uncovered

JPA program today saw us walking to Panglima Ward a.k.a male medical ward and was greeted with a trail of fresh blood along the hallway.

Now we're talking.

Patients were as critical as airway dysfunctional and corrected with tracheostomy to TB. There were also patients with excessive fluid in their stomach [I'm not sure the term, but it sure is not oedema.] and patients with lung probs.

Kind of like the time Hakim had bronchitis and had to underwent that tedious ventilator thingy.

A skill I fully perfected today [ceh] is the art of recognizing levels of doctor.

  • A doctor who listens a lot, writes on a lot of PTH and speaks little is a sure sign of a houseman officer a.k.a newly grads.
  • A doctor who talks a lot is sure is a medical officer a.k.a at least a year more experienced than a HO.
  • A doctor who, when approaching a HO and a MO on a round, automatically silence the MO with his mere presence; now we're talking about a specialist.
I told dad of this. He pondered and laughed. "I suppose you're correct."
Next we were off to the O&G clinic and Orthopedic clinic. More blood-taking, simple urine pregnancy test and more dressing. Not much event.
I met Dr. Rosdi after lunch and he recognized me though the name slipped his mind. He congratulated me on the SPM result, expressed his sincere pride, tips for the upcoming JPA interview and sent his regards to mom and dad.
A nice doctor. He told me to go for it!
We under the JPA program were not enlisted to observe any paediatric clinic nor wards, a fact dad pointed out rather profusely. Despite it all, dad brought me along to his wards; NICU and another one with cute babies in their cots under the shade of ultraviolet light.
Sweet.
NICU was a sad view. Babies hardly the length of my humerus linked to machines and wires and more wires. Babies in ventilators.
I'll be a paediatrician one day and help those kiddies to achieve a fulfilling life as mine.
A surgeon or a paed? I'm not sure of what field I'll be in, but an M.D. nevertheless.
-----
Remember I mentioned about my JPJ retest on last Sunday? I passed, sure I did, but my P licence is still with Yakin Pandu. Mom's going to pick it up tomorrow.
I'll be reigning the roads! Police, beware!
And the OLC final debate? Well, do not underestimate Ninjas. Even with intentions of helming third place, we beaten the easy path to number one!

Mischief Managed?

I closed my eyes. "Class, silent please. I've an announcement to make."

Raimi seated himself in Solihin's place, next to Iqbal. The girls sat comfortably, staring me. Chatterboxes remained on high volume.

Opened a bit and glare. "I won't bother with whoever making noises."

Shuffles. Raja seated himself like a good kid. Hazim and Iqbal scrambled to their seat. Haikal remained monkeying around.

"Today would probably be my last day here."

Silence.

Raimi's smile dropped.

"What?!" Iqbal scrunched up in complaint. "It's only been four days!"

"The teachers always come and go!" Raja piped.

"Andai ku tahu... terlebih dahulu..." Hazim sang melodramatically.

"I'll probably come on Sunday, but I'll leave around 11. I can't make it to school from Monday to Thursday."

"Where are you going, teacher?" Fatimah asked from the back of the class.

"Hospital."

"What? Why?" Came the scruffy voice of Iqbal's.

"Something." I shrugged. "Now let us learn something new today-"

"When will you come back?" Raja looked up towards my looming height.

"Andai ku tahu..."

"I'm not sure." I glance at him. Smiled. "If Muallimah Rahmah found another teacher, I probably won't be back here as a teacher.

Iqbal whined.

"Okay, class. Enough announcement. I really want you guys to learn something today. Everyone take out your Grammar notebook now and write these down."

Volume went back up.

"I mean it."

I turned around and frowned at each and everyone of them. Raimi sheepishly smiled and took out his. So did Iqbal and the rest of the gang.

Amni came up front and started asking, "Which book, teacher?"

"Grammar. Now go back to your place." I turned towards the whiteboard when I saw a flash of blue and Raimi running back to his seat.

"Raimi!" I sighed exasperatedly at him. Someone is being mischievous. "What did you do?"

A grin came as a reply and I saw that he had sweeped out the 'f' and 'L' from Preposition of Location, our topic today.

"Everyone, start writing now." I actually glared him. "And that means you, too, young man."

He laughed.

"... terlebih dahulu..." Hazim sang while writing. I just had to kneel in front of his table and proposed, "Hazim, I know a song. Wanna learn?"

"Which song, teacher?"

"PSFM unofficial song. Kami lah barisan perwira-"

Volume went down a little. Raimi looked up from his writing and glanced at me.

"Putra putri SMI tercinta-"

Iqbal scrambled of his seat and stood beside Hazim.

"Anggun segak tampan, sungguh bergaya-"

For real, I can sing!

"Semangat sekeras waja." I stood and smiled. "Ever heard?"

"My sister has one of those." Raja grinned. "Got loads in the computer."

"I see." I swept my glance across the class. "Okay, back to business."

Between teaching and securing a scholarship, I'll choose the latter since it's quite important. Judging by the level of fun though, teaching way passed that of scholarship.

These JPA, UPU, BNM, Khazanah, UEM, Sime Darby and others scholarship are boring. I never did fancy filling in forms.

On Sunday I'll have my JPJ retest and I need to be there by 12.30. Sure I wouldn't want to be distracted this time.

Monday till Friday, I've a Program Pendedahan Kerjaya Seorang Doktor at HRPZ2, compulsory for every JPA overseas medic scholarship applicants. Dude, that's my hang-out place.

I really hope these tedious two will be settled quick. Then I can focus on teaching.

Bending the young minds of students. Ah.

Oh, I forgot. The OLC debate is still ongoing, but the so-called Debate Council had dragged the competition for quite a period of time. I've been bored to sleep.

Besides, I've other fish to fry.

I miss the mayhem of 3 Sabar already.

Walk the Talk

Previously, on Baka no Tensai...

I need to take another two-hour class.
And I did. I went down to Yakin Pandu and paid RM20 for a repeat form. And I had my repeat two-hour class at 11 a.m.

Which ended at 11.30. I had to laugh. [I think they know we'll get bored doing the same routine two hours straight. Besides, all repeaters merely made silly mistake, it's not like they didn't really know the drill.]

The instructor showed me the car and let me practice freely up the hill, into the side parking lot and into the three-point of carnage.

It was simple actually. I didn't know how I flunked on the three-point yesterday, but if anyone ask, I'll say, "There was a hottie there. I got distracted."

Wanna bet how many will fall for that?

And hopefully, my next JPJ test will be before the end of next week.
I paid RM10 shortly afterwards to book my JPJ retest, which will be held on 13th March around 2 p.m. Please wish me luck!

Oh, and yesterday was the first time I skipped OLC class. Not impressive.

I may be unlikely to make it to usrah.
Contrary to popular view often expressed freely in press, I did went to usrah. Quite the diligent person I am, right?

I arrived SMI just in time for the closing of the daurah jamai'e. Dayang-sensei saw me and said, "Atiqah, didn't you get my message? We're having a daurah jamai'e today and your present is optional."

Obviously I didn't. Dude.

I need ice-cream.
I didn't have any.

I'd rather lick my way through an ice lolly rather than have creamy ice-cream, like Cornetto, thanks to their raunchy advertisement they have nowadays.

What's the big deal about Cornetto and romance, anyway? I see no connection. Or am I naturally dim-witted in certain frontier? It's plausible.

To ER is to Human

Being the constant telly-watcher I am nowadays, I spend most of my free time doing so while surfing online, babysitting Hakim and shooing dust out of the house. I'm a multi-tasker.

Given the choice, I always watch Discovery, AXN and Hallmark channel with the occasional National Geography, History and Animal Planet.

Sometimes I will compromise with Hakim, making way for Playhouse Disney, Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon.

I've a fetish for medical, investigation and legal drama and I try my best to catch them whenever I can. Name it: ER, House, Alias, CSI [LV, Miami, NY], Numb3rs, McBride, Without a Trace, Law & Order and L&O: SVU. Even the British-laden Wire in the Blood.

I also watch Mythbusters, Las Vegas and Nip/Tuck. Careful and always on my guard on those last two.

Man, look at those links...

I'm ever so grateful with the airing of ER [last aired was Season 2, episode 1: Welcome back, Carter!] on Hallmark. Sure, I know I'm obsolete but frankly my dear, I don't give a damn.

I fancy Dr. John Carter. He had an approachable attitude and his bedside manner was better than most of the doctor there. Dad always emphasise the importance of communication in the medical field and to treat the patients equally with dignity and respect.

Usually I watch TV3, but now I only flip to that channel every Sunday at 10 p.m. for my date with the Winchester brothers.

TV3 has gotten way past boring especially since they kept airing Barisan Nasional on the go and the puke-inducing advertisement on BN so-called achievements. [A bunch of wuss, those achievements were Malaysia's. BN is a party, not the government, dammit!]

I have no problem with those airs, but the press are being biased and only show one side of the story. And we declare ourselves as a developing democratic nation. Pfft.
It's not the billion they subsidized, it's the trillion they robbed us!

Current affair: Ninja Turtles presented on 'Understanding Psychic' this morning. Got quite the nifty praises from the floor.

As the class debate champion, Ninja will be up against some class's champion on the semi-final round on 10th March on the motion yet to be disclosed.

Malaysia 12th GE is two days to go. I'm nervous. God, please retain Kelantan under the current PAS government, I don't want us to be as detrimental as other states, ameen.

I can't believe I can jump from ER to BN.

Presents, Still

Silly me, I forgot to write about the eventful yesterday.

As usual, Saturday means I'll sleep in a bit, miss out on Numb3rs aired on AXN and head to OLC for the usual class from 9-11++ a.m. Trust me, the class never started nor ended on time.

But last Saturday was different. SMI/SRI Graduation Day was held at the nearby Gelanggang Seni.

The whole family went there, even the sleepwalking Hakim. The four-year-old was still half groggy when he jumped into the Toyota Innova. Yeah, he didn't bathe; mom merely gave him a new change of attires.

We departed at 8.30, and I rushed to meet my junior Ain since my cellphone was in her possession [She playfully took it away on Thursday, intending on giving it back afterwards. Unfortunately yet predictably, she accidentally took it home.].

I met Dayang-sensei and told her I have English class but I still wanted to be on stage for my prizes. She told me to come over at 10.30.

So I did. Always the pragmatist, I walked from GS to OLC, or rather, I half-ran while trying not to trip on the over-sized jubah of mom's. It's only an 11-minute walk. I like walking.

Usually, I'll sit at the front row but seeing as I've asked and was granted an early leave, I settled myself at the back of the class.

The popular commonly sits in the front. Being away from the lot, it was quite comforting. No idle chattering of unnecessary nor uninvited peeps.

The day's topic was on stress management. Dr Wan gave us each a piece of form to be written with our former and current behaviours as well as the turning point in our life.

Being the proactive self, I finished writing all traits down within minutes of being given.

It was also a nice change; sitting at the back I mean. I get to crack jokes with Widad and made witty remarks on Taufiq. Even Ashraf asked me to translate some words.

At 10.15, I bid the class adieu.

At the GS, the atmosphere was lively. It was packed with kids in white uniforms, mothers in colourful kurungs and Ubaidah in that ridiculous dull green floral shirt.

I got 3 awards that day: Full Attendance, Best Prefect and Pembantu Jurulatih for BaSeD.

It was my first time getting the full attendance award and I'm proud of it. Last year was hectic enough I couldn't find a day worth to skip. I remember dragging my feverish ass to school on two separate occasion.

Granted the Best Prefect along with Naim, well, I can't say it was unexpected. I pretty much earned it.

All in all, the day was great. I got presents; not much to brag but presents nonetheless. Who's whining? But the biggest prize was sitting at the back of OLC class. I've a good mind to start sitting at the back next time.

Ninja versus Shuriken

I addressed my concern to Dr. Wan and he said as the moderator, he'll ensure that all debaters will be treated with dignity and no emotional or personal lashes will be treated okay.

I thanked him and exited his office. He applauded. Talk about enthusiasm..

I noticed Munirah posted a new bulletin on Friendster entitled 'Lost with Honour.' Among others mentioned in her post was, "Ma'wa was emotional, but acceptable (to me)." Yes, of course.

The debate today against Shuriken School consisted of Muhaqquis, Ashraf, Widad and Naim. Ashraf was wearing pink. What is it with guys and pink?

But a writer in Fanfiction once wrote...
"Good," Sakura said punctually noticing Kakashi’s sliver eyebrow raise in response.

"Good?" he questioned and Sakura felt it her obligation to enlighten him since he was such a useless man.

"I like men who are comfortable enough in their masculinity to admit they don't have a problem with the color pink."
Our motion was the same as the first one and enough said, Ninja Turtles prevailed with a three-mark increased from our last debate. Not much to say, just that I know we didn't really do our best.

Even the fluent me was slightly stuttering. Slightly, but stuttered nevertheless. It was miraculous that we won. Contemplating it all, the Shuriken was better than Barney; point-wise and dignity-wise.

Being honest with you guys, I was very looking forward to the Shuriken's performance. You see, this is, like, the second OLC presentation for Muhaqquis, Ashraf and Widad.

Perhaps because it's always the same old face doing the talking, a new change of view is very much welcomed.

Ninja Turtles was the champion from International 1 class so next week we will be debating the champion from International 2 on the topic 'Foreign worker: Asset or Liability.'

At the end of the debate, Dr. Wan commented on each of us but strangely, he gave more in depth remarks on me. He seems to be fond of the idea of commenting me the most; even his son Mr. Ray did the same thing to me, too.

I suppose they both wanted me to be better; better than the rest. How heartening. He commented quite a lot, which I took note of all said. But the most memorable was, "You are relaxed and subject-wise."

Man, that meant a lot. It meant I'm well on my track to be a matured person with head logically filled and a broad perspective to head this rigid life.

I've matured, have I not?

The Calmest Wins

We just had our semi-final debate and as predicted, we the audacious Ninja Turtles grabs the victory as the generous winner.

I didn't feel like elaborating much, just I wanted to point out several out of it.

I have never been involved in a debate prior to enrolling at OLC. In general, all I can conclude of a debate is that it is a place to express your thoughts diplomatically, to practice the freedom of speech and to seek in a different point of view the truth of a certain topic.

Whilst in court, you fight to seek who is right.

By all, the debate with the Barney was the most frustrating of all, thanks to their rebuttal, Ma'wa.

I never had any problem with him before, but him being the proposer of the 'PLKN should be made compulsory' topic was highly inappropriate since he was far from being diplomatic.

"And to think that you opposer are against the idea of National Service should be made compulsory is just disgusting!" And with that, he slammed his notes on the table.

The audience cheered.

Dr. Wan (our teacher and judge) smirked happily.

I frowned in disgust. Shouldn't he be dismissed for disrespecting the members of the debate?

His rebuttal speech was far too sarcastic, he was ridden with emotional and he kept jabbing his index finger towards each and every one of my team member.

When he got to his point of NS building confidence in students, he jabbed, "If you are confident, you wouldn't read your speech on text, or even exceed the five-minute time limit like you did last time, didn't you, Atiqah?"

I stared at him like a living brain donor. The crowd cheered.

When it was my turn, I was tempted with the idea of smacking these right on his face. "As a fellow debater, I am very disappointed with your rebuttal speech. You had not only managed to be uncontrollably emotional, but you had proven you are a loser the moment you mentioned 'disgusting' and smacked the table."

"Like, what the fuck were you doing; being emotional and rude and attacking of personal in an honorable debate? By right, you should be dismissed! Where is the relevancy of my time-exceeding be the yardstick of my confidence? For a stupid man, you sure are the stupidest!"

"If you have a personal vendetta with me, I'm free to settle this outside; be it verbally or fist-to-fist! You are disgusting."

I was taught to be diplomatic in every situation, since the calmest of all wins. And so I did calm down, and pointed out bit by bit of my opinion.

I've been a very fiery person though a logical one at that. I know that a man convinced against his will, is of the same opinion still. No point in debating if you didn't manage to instill your idea in your opponent. Even if you win, you will still lose if you fail to do so.

Our team won, btw. I hope tomorrow's will be a lot better and more diplomatic than today's.

Ardent Dispute

We had our debate on 'Polluter should be severely punished' last Saturday. Yeah, I went to class despite my earlier intention of skipping it. I'm a good student.

It went well, pretty well. We got our facts straight and I do believe I did great. Of course I could have done better, but why work too hard?

There were two rounds of debate that day. Munirah, Ma'wa, Fayyadh and Fateen made up the opposing team Barney & Friends and they went against team Thomas & Friends comprising of Syafiq, Izzati, Farhana and Diyana.

versus

Who won, you might asked? Well, dinosaurs, of course, won by 419 - 390.

The second round was Taufiq, Farihan, Nadia and Fatima in their opposing team Blue's Clues against our intimidating and furiously outspeaking team: Ninja Turtles.

versus

Ninja Turtles sounds a bulk more matured than Barney or Blue or Thomas. Quite out of place, we are. I wonder why we didn't name our group Teen Titans.

Oh, yeah. Titans got 5 main, Ninja got 4.

Well, back to business. For sure it was the Ninja who prevailed the battle of witty remarks with 454 - 417.

Next Wednesday, we brave Ninjas will be opposing the Barney in the topic 'PLKN should be made compulsory.'

The verdict is yet to be known, but Ninja will win. Yeah. Ninjas are a whole lot stronger and smarter than dinosaurs. I know that for fact.

Wearing Debate

We're having a debate on 'Polluters should be severely punished' tomorrow. I'm the team captain for group 2 together with Farahim, Razan and Faizah and we will be the proposer.

I'm tired. I wish we wouldn't have to debate tomorrow. I'm tired with doing all the research and I hope the debate will be postponed to another date.

Maybe I should consider calling in sick. Yeah. But then, I'll disappoint my team.

I probably should go to sleep. It's 12.31 a.m already and my body is slowly shutting down. I've to be at OLC by 8 tomorrow, and my rebuttal text is still being drafted.

I hope I'll sore throat tomorrow. Then I'll have a reason to pull myself out of this.

Since when had I became a quitter? Oh, yeah. Since I got tired searching futilely for Malaysia pollution statistics and amendment of environmental act.

Have a good day, everyone.

KB Mall Outing

Last Wednesday 20th February, my classmates at OLC International 1 class and I went out to outing at KB Mall right after our class ended on that day. Actually, I wanted to come along on condition that Fayyadh will be carrying my bag. He said he would, but changed his mind on the day of the outing. Boys.

The seven of us (me, Munirah, Farihan, Fatima, Fayyadh, Syafiq and Ma'wa) walked from OLC along Jalan Bayam towards KB Mall on Jalan Hamzah. Muhaqquis and Ashraf drove there.

We arrived at Pacific Bowl around 12++, and they bowled happily on 10 sets of game. They took two lanes while I kicked back and enjoyed myself cheering and laughing at them.

I didn't play in favour of reading Dale Carnegie's book, but the music was too loud and Fayyadh brought his new camera, so I opted to taking their pictures instead.

Around 1.30 or so, the eight of them finished their game with Ashraf scoring 118 with one strike. Ma'wa came in second. We packed our stuff and went for lunch at the food court.

I suppose everyone was hungry and tucked in to a lot of food. Nearly everyone opted for a sizzling meal, except me who enjoyed ice cream and crab balls.

Back with a Bang

I'm alive, yeah, and still kicking like always. My SPM ended on 4th December ago, but I was caught with another affair with another blog and you know, it is pretty hard to commit to two blogs at the same time.

Ah, yes, I'm obliged to tell you what I have been up to after the end of the terrific battle with SPM.

Taking driving license.

Legally in Malaysia, you have to be 17 and above to qualify for one. I've currently obtained my learner's license and in a couple of days I'll be assessed by my teacher before being assessed by the JPJ guys to finally obtain my PDL!

Then I can drive down to town, buy a new book and head to the nearest beach to read! I am such a meticulous planner.

Studying English at Oxford Language Center.

There's one in Kota Bharu and the place is quite okay. I mean, I get to talk in class. Talk as in, non-stop? At school, they forbade me.

Maybe due to my velocity of speech is directly proportional to the amplitude of my voice. So, yeah. I tend to speak ten miles per hour when I have something to say. I'm talking Physics. That's creepy.

Whether my English has improved or not, we'll see in a couple of months. I've just enrolled in January, give me more time.

Booking our class and batch souvenir shirt.

Yeah, I'm onto it. I've designed the shirts and had it sent to the printing shop. And that was a month ago.

And the next week after that, I went back to the shop to alter the design. I've just called the shop just know to further discuss on the progression. The printing guy, Abang Cik, said they were okay, and I have to pay a 30% deposit before they can start printing.

I know there should have been a down-payment, but the last time I went down the shop, they said nothing about it. It's been delayed, partly my fault.

Either way, I plan on going down the shop on Wednesday. The shirt's price should have jacked up since I altered the design, but I'm okay as long as it's below RM30. If it's above that price, I'm in scorching hot soup.

Catching up on animes and movies.

There's this awesome website, CrunchyRoll, and there's maximega load of animes to be watched! I'm currently onto Clannad and I've just watched 14 episodes out of 24.

It's a very hilarious story with engaging plot laced with sorrow now and then. A great watch and I highly recommend it to you.

And I've grown fond of this guy, Bruce Willis. You know him? Who am I kidding; everyone does! He's a brilliant actor and a great comedian. I'm trying to catch up with most of his movies and I've watched his appearance in the Late Show with David Letterman, which is entirely brain-draining due to the laughter I had fit.

He's a very hilarious guy. Sadly, the telly isn't showing any back-to-back Die Hard which I am dying for. I'll buy the whole set once I've enough money.

I mean, once I've settled in my own place, that is. Quite a long way to go, Atiqah.

Reading.

Yes, I did it all the time. I'm the read freak, remember? I've finished Peter James's Dead Simple, James Twinning's The Double Eagle, Nicola Lindsay's Diving Through Clouds and Michael Connelly's The Closers.

I'm out of books now. So I'm rereading Reader's Digest while waiting for Fanfiction to update.

Somehow, I've quite forgotten about my Physics, Chemistry and Biology reference books. I miss them.

Writing.

Apart from blog-crapping, I mean. I owe A'isyah-nee a story actually and worst of all, I had given her my words that I'll have it finished a week after SPM. And now? It's already 48 days.

I am so not giving my words to anyone. Ever.

Handling usrah.

Even though I'm a school-leaver now, I still enjoy hanging out at the school. Who doesn't, now that I'm free of lectures and homework. I come and go, like the wind.

Dayang-sensei asked me to handle usrah this year, which I had no problem. But I kept getting it clashed with my driving classes and the turn of event see me rescheduling and rescheduling.

Very tiring. I need to get myself a better organizer. Sony Ericsson K300i doesn't do much tricks.

I've requested for my former group. At least, I can get to start back from where I've left off. I need luck with this one, oh yeah.

Haru & Associates
