Tasnim sedih sebab esok exam Anatomy.

Bergambar sebelum mereka masuk.
Yang baliknya cuma tiga orang je..

Seperti biasa, kita interview orang.

Atiqah: Nak balik ni jaga diri.
Rumaisa': Aah. [salam]
Atiqah: Nanti cakap benda-benda baik je tau pasal Mesir.
Rumaisa': Memang pun~
Atiqah: Seronok ke datang sini?
Rumaisa': Seronok! Nanti insyaAllah nak datang lagi!

Haha. Memang innocent.

Rumaisa: Tak sempat jumpa Yuuno, kirim salam dekat dia.
Atiqah: Aah, baik.

Si Aina pulak menangis awal-awal sedih tak mo balik.

Aina: Kita tak nak balik..
Atiqah: Balik le dah sekolah. Nanti kirim salam ke sume orang kat sekolah.

Pukul 11.15am kami ke car park menemui Ammu Said yang sedia menunggu.

Melayan Ammu Said berborak.

"Flight diorang pukul 2.15pm, tak awal sangat ke diorang ni?" Ammu Said yang peramah cakap.

"Takpe, kaunter diorang dah bukak."

"Nak balik dah ke, or tunggu jap sementara diorang timbang? Kot-kot ada masalah ke."

"InsyaAllah takde masalah, tapi nak tunggu jap pun orait jugak.."

Khadijah Husni ada exam petang ni. Bahasa Arab Kefahaman? InsyaAllah najah.. budak-budak mumtaz boleh study mana-mana je.

Kanak-kanak excited sebab car park tersebut amat lapang.. Seronok berlari.

Study, esok exam 35 markah tu..

Minta maaf ye, Aina dan Rumaisa'. Akak kurang melayan kalian sangat. Akak rasa masa kat SMI pun akak tak melayan junior-junior sangat.

Semoga pulang dengan selamat. Dengar cakap Kak Ainon, jangan duk melilau je.

Doakan kitorang yang kekurangan keropok kat sini ni.

p/s: Diorang tingkatan satu semasa kami tingkatan lima. Sempat la menjadi mangsa bulian, plus saya seorang yang 'famous' di sekolah maka semua orang kenal.

Graduates Appreciation Ceremony 2010

Graduates Appreciation Ceremony 2010

We celebrate graduating seniors
congratulating them for the years spent studying
and appreciate the love and support they've given.

We learn from their hardships endured
and their obstacles outwitted.

They leave us for a mountain much bigger,
responsibility much more strenuous.

Hoping, we'll be there praying for them
and we'll endure Egypt as well as them
if not, way better than them.

So why not spend a night of remembrance
and join in the traditional-laced celebration?

It'd be fun :)

Opah #3

This is not angst. This is reminiscence.

Mahayah bt Zainal was born on 17th January 1926. She passed away on 16th January 2010.

84 years old.

Being the old lady she was, Opah woke up every 2 hours of the night. On that fateful day, she woke up at 5am, took her bath, her morning obligations etc and went back to sleep.

She never woke up after that.

Mama said Opah was smiling.

The undertaker said Opah was easy to deal with. She had never seen such a clean body.

Opah was happy. I pray the best for her, ease and contentment in her afterlife.

I will miss the long talk we had. Her philosophy of life.

Life doesn't end there. You can bet her living generation will continue spreading the messages of Allah.

So, undoubtedly you're right
Even though right now I may try to turn back
And I keep on being stubborn about it,
though I know it's monotonous
I'll start walking again, this time even farther,
and I won't give up

Tatsuya Ishii - River

The strong ones will continue walking, stepping over every thorn and bolding every obstacles.

Yeah, we will.

He that doeth good shall have ten times as much to his credit..
(6:160)

May everything be accounted for.

Thank you for the endless doa.

Thank you for the pat on my back, for the messages in my inbox and for the support and love.

Thnk you for those strong words that kept my sanity intact.

May Allah be pleased with us and eases us all to His Jannah.

p/s: I think I finally understand the phrase: Cukuplah mati itu sebagai satu peringtan.

A painful pang for you to really wake up. Mourn and move!

Opah #2

Along told me at 4.57am (GMT +2). Papa later at 10am.

She passed in her sleep.

Today is the day of silence.

Just a shell of nothingness inside.

Though I am here. Allah help me, I am here.

Talk to me but not with me.

Distract me, don't let me wander.

Radhi reminds me He loves her more than all of us accounted.

Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger,
some loss in goods or lives
or the fruits (of your toil),
but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere,

Who say, when afflicted with calamity:
"To Allah We belong, and to Him is our return."

(2:155-156)

Indeed, remember that every breath is scarce.

Waste not, use your seconds to the fullest.

Don't there is one day for you to regret.

"Please understand I hold you in the highest respect."

You walk in front of the Students Affair and from afar see a small group of senior (all female) sitting politely on the edge of the garden.

One of them happens to be your mentor.

You:
a) smile and raise your hand in a short wave.

b) continue walking.

They smile and wave slightly back.

You:
a) walk over and greet them.

b) continue walking.

All three are still smiling. You handshake the first one, laga pipi, ask how is she doing, why is her hand warm while yours cold, what are they doing here? etc.

Your mentor answers, "Kitorang ada meeting ni."

You:
a) "Oh." and continue handshake and laga pipi the next two seniors and then be on your way.

b) "Oh." and be on your way.

Upon reaching the last senior, as you laga her cheeks, she whispers, "Perasan tak ada orang belakang awak?"

You:
a) "Tak, takde pulak," and look over your shoulder, wondering what's with the whispering.

b) "Tak, takde pulak," without looking over your shoulder.

As you scan the area (you chose option A, as always) for familiar faces, your eyes fall onto the fourth meeting member sitting on the lee bench across your three seniors.

He looks up from his book and smiles innocently.

You:
a) "Oh, ada orang lain rupanya..." Grin apologetically, drop the hand you were holding and beat a hasty retreat.

b) "Oh, tak nampak pulak [insert name] tadi, haha. Sorry la kacau korang." Smile apologetically, drop the hand you were holding and beat a hasty retreat.

You run to your Anatomy practical class to your cluster of friends.

You:
a) laugh your embarassment off with them.

b) smash your head into their hugs, groan and swear the earth to come swallow you whole.

Either way, you still have to live and excel your exams.

Samosa Pis-cok

Activity:
Spread the Love: Samosa Pis-cok

Predisposing factors:
1- An evening reminiscent of my childhood popia pisang
2- Mak and ayah's craving for Kak Susi's pis-cok
3- Exam syndrome [makin dekat exam, makin giat mengidam]

Serves:
80 pieces

Ingredients:
Sincerity
Love
2 packets of kulit samosa [LE6.50 each]
2.5kg banana
A box of Corona instant chocolate mix
Loaded people can go for melted chocolate bars

How to:
Split banana into halves and slice rapidly.

Mix chocolate + dash of sugar + very little water separately.

Mix them both well.

Stuff, fold neatly.

Seal the end with lazily beaten egg.

Fry.

Tips: Overstuffing will lead to omphalocele.

How Not To

Girls love to walk around alone. They’ll march like they own the roads and become totally oblivious to surroundings; only ceasing when they meet someone familiar, before crossing the road, or to coo at kitties.

Other than that, they’ll act independent. Macho, should we say.

Most females are congenitally equipped with survival skills of ignorance, run, scream and the likes, but they’re not really as effective for the long run.

To illicit this persisting problem, Ustaz Fauwaz once suggested we present ourselves as unattractive and highly ineligible for socialization as possible.

Examples:

#1 – Feign convulsions

#2 – Feign psychosis

And my personal favourite,

#3 – Fart

Should we practice any one of those above, I’m sure we’ll be able to subdue the leech from his pursuit and contribute to the growing rate of andartu.

Concluding, don’t walk alone. Or don’t walk out (late) at all. Just stay put and study. If you're desperate though, there’s always the smarter choice of avoiding common Malay routes.

And this post was actually written because I had an acute craving for MapleStory thus BannedStory was chosen as it is the least addicting (lethal) approach. Sorry for the mushiness.
