Some people, when only expected to come enjoy themselves at a party, bring along with them desserts whether self-made or walk the extra mile to buy one beautifully crafted from a known excellent patisserie.
These people are God-sent and make other people more than happy to be graced with their friendship and company.
On the opposite spectrum, some other, when they accepted a job and it goes without saying the responsibility and expectations from fellow colleagues and boss, simply stood the deadline up without prior notice because that's their definition of fun.
These people are pigs sent by God as a challenge for the rest of the world's patience. Conceited to think people will follow through nicely with them, like everybody else doesn't have an exam or life to tend to.
Apology is needed when you make a mistake, but more importantly you need to prove yourself, instead of all big honourable talk of "don't worry, I will still do my part even when I'm away" with no deeming actions afterward.
Or perhaps they were involved in a life-threatening accident faraway. If so then you may die in peace, we'll get somebody else to finish your part.
Life goes on and some people stay in yours.
