Survive This :)

Kak Bid atas bas menuju airport pagi tadi.

Hi everyone. You should know by now what is going on in Egypt and please pray that liberation will be theirs and peace will befall before any more blood are spilled.

And the fact that Sayyeda Zeinab is just a stone away from Tahrir Square made us edgy, worried for the safety of our precious medical books and haha maybe fearful for our own safety as well. With the police gone, tanks on the road and your neighbours prowling the street on guard with his sharpened machete, who wouldn't be?

Thus here we are now, in the Malaysia Hall in Abbasiyyah, half an hour or so of taxi journey from our house.

I never liked curfews anyway. The reason I refused to stay at the Malaysia Hall when I was in London was because of the 10pm curfew, imagine living in Cairo with a 4pm (now as early as 1pm!) - 8am curfew. I'll get as irritable as an Ascaris in a feverish host.

Tear gas is very very irritating. Extremely hurtful to the throat, nose and ear and what do you know, the local taught us to neutralize its effect with the common vinegar.

Nevertheless, living in a lockdown is thrilling as it is, but I do hope this is only a once-in-a-lifetime experience. And please Dato' Seri Najib if you ever come across this post, please, evacuate us as soon as possible while we are still sane.

Life goes on, no matter how chaotic things are. Be calm, stay rational. Even with everything inside in turmoils, a rational mind will pave the best plan. And Allah will always help us through this, be optimistic and have trust in Him.

I gotta run now, bye.

wow jangan diungkap kalam rindu itu, beta tak mampu berbuat apa melainkan kiriman doa untuk tuan hamba.

benda ini sangat thrilling, but i worry my adrenalin is running dry. haha you'll get that bile dah berhari on alert kot. seram. insyaAllah jumpa balik once everything clear off.

insyaAllah, in the end, everything will be fine. if it is not fine then it is not the end yet.
