We sixth year Malaysians started our academic session one month later than the Egyptians and to catch up, compensations must be made in the form of sacrificing our two-weeks winter break. It was understandably non-negotiable, but some of us still wanted to try.

Universally, weekend means two days off but apparently in the medical profession, you're more than lucky to even have one.
